I was wondering, and this is more of a personal opinion question out to everyone, but this website:
http://www.cuban-cigars.ws/questions/questions.html#2
claims that under their shipping and billing information that buying cuban cigars is legal and that you can import two boxes for personal use. While I think their interpretation of the law is skewed or dead wrong, is there anyone that can agree with me and prove or disprove their claim?[/url]
I will try to make this simple If you are an American citizen it is Illegal to buy possess or consume a cuban cigar anwhere in the world except when in cuba on an official travel permit from the Treasury. Before 2001 somebody travelling to cuba on an official permit could import up to 100 dollars worth of cuban goods to include cigars for personal consumption You can not get two boxes for 100 dollars). That website in my opinion is very bold in advertising that it breaks US laws and is giving very bad legal advice. When you purchase or import cuban cigars it is Illegal and you can be persecuted. Some people have been persecuted in the past and will probably be in the future.
