El Mejor Espresso - Torpedo

Size: 6.5 x 54 - box pressed
Wrapper: Mexico- Maduro
filler: Hon/Nic/Mex
binder: Hon
strength: full

A large impressive cigar with a wrapper so dark it looks almost black. They are sharply box pressed but so far I have had no draw problems. The burn is cool, even and draw is easy. The flavor has hints of dark
chocolate and a definite coffee/espresso taste. I have enjoyed these cigars immensely and plan on getting a few bundles. The retailer who handles these smokes rates the strength at medium but I would rate them as full but not overpowering.

  1. This is defilately a few steps up from the El Meyor I tried last year.
You can detect the mexican leaf in this smoke and also know that it's what gives this beaut it's womph! More later maybe, I'm only in the first inch so far.

  2. It's 4:45 am. Just came back into my study, ( gar room) . with a nice cuppa black Colombian coffee. Got booted up and lit up the El Mejor Espresso that Fletchman sent to me. What a wonderful way to start the day! Nice medium - full taste, a definite hint of coffee and chocolate, good draw though box pressed. Strongly recommend as an A.M. gar with your coffee, (no cream or sugar). I'll definitely keep my eye out for some at auction.
