This mild to medium body cigar is made up of Olor and Piloto long fillers and is surrounded by a Candela wrapper.
It has a nice even burn and the ash held fairly well. The draw was a little heavy but didn't interfere with the smoke. The sweet Candela wrapper makes this a good after lunch/mid day cigar. It is definitely not a cigar for the heavy bodied smoker (too mild). On a scale of 1-10 and comparing apples to apples, I would give it a 7 for taste and a 3 for price. I can't remember but the stick price is around $2.25 for the Lonsdale + $7.50/box for shipping. I was surprised with the over all fair quality of this cigar compaired to Thompsons so called freebie cigars crappy quality.
A good cigar for the mild to medium body cigar smoker. For the medium heavy to heavy body cigar smokers Its too mild to enjoy, unless you like the sweet flavor of the Candela Wrapper.
I just got a box of these. They are a fair smoke but the box has been somewhat inconsistant. Some sticks draw well. Others have problems. The flavor is mild and a little sweet. I probably won't buy them again but it wasn't a bad purchase either.

ReplyDeleteThanks for the reply. Thopson Cigars do have a habit of vairring in taste and draw issues. I got this cigar as part of a sampler so consistentcy could not be judged. Thanks for the imput.
