How Long Will Cigars Last?

Sure you love cigars, and you might even be tempted to purchase a
large quantity of them to take advantage of some remarkable deals,
but how long can you actually store your stogies?

If properly maintained, there is no reason a good humidor shouldn't
be capable of storing your cigars for the duration of your life.
Heck, it can even store them for the duration of your childrens
life, and their childrens, etc.

In fact, there have been reports of pre-embargo cigars "discovered"
in walk-in humidors that were placed there 40 or 50 years ago and
they were said to be out-of-this-world-delicious.

If you have any questions about cigars or the
proper way to store them, or anything else, please feel free to
give me a call at 1-888-674-8307 or via email at

Hopefully I have been able to shed some light on how long cigars
can last.

  1. Good point. I've also noticed some cigars actually go flat or loose flavor with age. Two examples of cigars that don't age well are Padron and Litto Gomez Diez. Padrons seem to go flat and loose flavor the longer they are aged and the if you like the kick of the Litto Gomez Diez it will loose strength with age. It does smooth out and is still a wonderful smoke but the kick is gone. I've seen the same thing happen with the La Flor Dominicana Double Ligero's.
