I just smoked one of these "bundle-pressed" beauties; they are a great [i:fb715d9905]change-ofpace[/i:fb715d9905] cigar, for my normally heavyweight rotation.
These sport a lovely Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, with a Dominican interior.
The flavors are decidedly [i:fb715d9905]sweet[/i:fb715d9905] on the palate, and I am normally not a big fan of 'all-Dominican' cigars for some "idiosyncratic" reason that I just can't explain, but these are [i:fb715d9905]exceptional[/i:fb715d9905] Dominican smokes, just like the Fuentes are famous for.
The cigar started off mellow, but not at all boring, and kept my attention throughout the duration, and finally built in strength, as the end neared; it really is a [i:fb715d9905]clean smoker[/i:fb715d9905], but leaves a pleasing aftertaste.
I'd say that these are mellow enough for those who like their Fonsecas, Partagas, Excaliburs, and Macanudos, and full enough for those of us who smoke the La Gloria Cubanas, Camachos, etc.
These are not exactly [i:fb715d9905]cheap or expensive[/i:fb715d9905], but they deliver [i:fb715d9905]the goods[/i:fb715d9905].
Highly recommended for a change of pace.
