With a name like "Value Line" I expected a dog rocket good for passing out to guys who like to smoke but don't like to buy. Or what friends call a "yard gar". Something to stick in your mouth while mowing the lawn.
I don't smoke while mowing the lawn but to each his own. I wasn't expecting the flavor and quality I found with these smokes. They have a smooth reddish hued wrapper, nicely rolled with some heft to it. The wrapper is from Honduras but tastes as if it comes from connecticut seed.
The flavor was smooth and creamy and pretty straight forward. The burn was straight with a dark gray ash. Although these probably won't win any awards they are a good cigar for the money and fans of mild/medium smokes would do themselves a favor by checking them out. Made for Famous smoke shop by Guillermo Rico, the man behind Gran Habano cigars.
