Fletchman cigar tool

Few things are more aggravating than clipping an expensive, hand made cigar and finding it won't draw or the draw is too tight. I have used everything from nails, to scratch awls, to ice picks in an attempt to make a cigar draw properly. Sometimes it works but usually ends up with a cracked wrapper and my cigar in the trash can along with my attitude. Argh!! I invented my cigar plug clearing tool about 3 years ago and have made a few for close friends. Users have told me it was the most effective plug clearing tool they have used and many a fine cigar has been saved from oblivion. Since the "Fletchman" tool has been such a success with my cigar buddies I decided to offer the tool for sale on a limited basis. The Standard model is suitable for 44 to 54 ring gauge smokes. The Magnum has a slightly larger diameter for today's gorilla 58-60 sized smokes. All the cigar tools are handmade and guaranteed.
The overall length is approximately 6 1/2 inches and about 3/4 of an inch in diameter. A sheet of instructions accompanies each tool.

Price:
Fletchman standard model is $24.95 plus $5.95 S&H*
Fletchman magnum model is $28.95 plus $5.95 S&H*

The list models are made with a hardwood handle of ash or poplar and metal parts are made of solid brass and aluminum. Custom wooden handles are available for additional cost. Purple Heart, Spanish Cedar, Curly Redwood and Redwood burl are woods currently in stock.

What others have said;

I happen to be one of the guinea pigs that got to test the Fletchman cigar tool and can safely say that it works better than anything I've tried bar none.

Years ago I sprung for a DrawPoker from Thompsons. It seemed to make sense but never worked well. After using it on a cigar the stogie would draw for a bit then plug up again. If I left it in the DrawPoker overnight like some of my BOTL's suggested the next day when I fired it up I would get ash in my mouth from the hole going all the way through the cigar. Yeach!

Since most plugs are near the head of a cigar the Fletchtool is perfect for clearing plugs without the "ash in mouth" effect.

If I'm careful using the tool I never get a split wrapper or do any damage to the cigar like with the DrawPoker. I've saved a lot of cigars with it.

The FCT get's a 10 on the tac-o-meter for best practical way of clearing plugs in any cigar.

I have the DrawPoker: IT DOESN'T WORK-IT'S CRAP!!I have tried some strange things like making cigar-kabobs with thin bamboo skewers, paperclips etc. even a long 1/4" Vermont American drill-bit...attached to my cordless drill!!!

The problem that The Fletchman Cigar Tool DOES address is the cigar being bunched too tightly in certain spots, so merely piercing the cigar is not going to work, because once you light the cigar, you're going to be pulling steam through the cigar along with the smoke, and the steam will swell any of these temporary passages shut again; it's a matter of simple(?) physics:TOBACCO NEEDS TO BE REMOVED so that the cigar's leaves have the opportunity to equally distribute their tension within the liga to be conducive to a good draw.

I have smoked some "unsmokeable" smokes with the help of the Fletchman Cigar Tool, which I was privileged enough to try a prototype thereof; yup I rescued them with the tool!

The Fletchman Cigar Tool is the real deal, it is a disarmingly simple, and a well thought out solution to a problem that produces profound states of anxiety among cigar smokers.

MY BOTTOM LINE:

THE FLETCHMAN CIGAR TOOL WILL SAVE YOU MORE THAN THE INITIAL COST OF ACQUIRING IT MANY, MANY TIMES OVER.

I ENTHUSIASTICALLY AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT, TRULY INGENIOUS.

SO, IN CLOSING I MUST SAY: "FLETCH, YOU SURE DO HAVE A MIGHTY-FINE TOOL!!!!"

What those other guys said. I like things that work. This does, beautifully. I had a bunch of cigars that I was going to throw out but I'm glad I didn't.

I don't care how much you pay for cigars, some will be plugged and many will be wrapped too tightly.

The thing about this plug tool is, how come nobody ever thought of it before?

Way to go, Fletch. This will be one of the most important advances ever for cigar smokers everywhere.

Fletch, I have to say that at the beginning I was very skeptical. Having tried several other types of cigar tools before, I wasn't keeping my hopes too high. but Fletch, you are the man! Your cigar tool works as advertised. I'm very impressed. What you have there is nothing short of a gem that no cigar smoker should be without. Thank you for saving several boxes of cigars that I had tossed in the coolerdor in hopes of one day finding a solution to cigars that are plugged or rolled too tight. Finally that day has arrived.
