The first thing that struck me on the appearance of this cigar was it's dark oily wrapper. That usually enough to get my attention right away. The cigars smoke as good as they look. Although the ring is bigger than I usually like its not unmanagable. The cigar throws a big volume of smoke and the flavor is lightly spicy with coffee notes, rich comes to mind as well as a very slight hint of chocolate with a nice cedary finish. Lots of flavor. I have found these cigars very smooth after about 3 months in the humidor. Excellent after steak dinner. On a scale from 1 to 10 I would rate this at about 8.9 after some humi time and about 8.4 right out of the box.
